Dental Implants
Am I a good candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with good general health are candidates for implants. Key requirements include adequate jawbone density and healthy gums. We perform a thorough clinical and radiographic evaluation before recommending implants.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper oral hygiene and regular check-ups, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown placed on top typically lasts 10–15 years before it may need replacement due to normal wear.
Is the implant procedure painful?
The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia, so you should feel no pain during placement. Post-operative discomfort is typically mild and managed with standard pain relief medication for 2–3 days.
How long does the full implant treatment take?
The complete process — from implant placement to final crown — typically takes 3–6 months to allow for osseointegration (the implant bonding with your jawbone). In select cases, same-day teeth options may be discussed.
Orthodontics & Aligners
What is the difference between Invisalign and traditional braces?
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable plastic aligners to straighten teeth, while traditional braces use fixed metal or ceramic brackets and wires. Invisalign is nearly invisible and can be removed for eating, but requires discipline to wear 20–22 hours a day. Both are highly effective — the right choice depends on the complexity of your case.
At what age should my child first see an orthodontist?
The Indian Orthodontic Society recommends an orthodontic assessment by age 7. Early evaluation allows us to identify developing problems and intervene before they become more serious, potentially reducing overall treatment time.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Treatment duration depends on the complexity of your case. Simple cases may take 6–12 months; more complex corrections typically take 18–24 months. Your orthodontist will give you a personalised estimate after a full assessment.
Root Canal & Pain
Is a root canal treatment painful?
Modern root canal treatment is no more uncomfortable than having a filling. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia to ensure you feel nothing during treatment. Soreness afterwards typically resolves within a few days.
How do I know if I need a root canal?
Common signs include persistent toothache, prolonged sensitivity to hot or cold, swelling near the tooth, or darkening of the tooth. However, sometimes there are no obvious symptoms — which is why regular check-ups are important.
Payments & Insurance
Do you accept dental insurance?
We work with several insurance providers and can help process your claims. Please bring your insurance card and policy details to your appointment so we can verify your coverage.
Do you offer payment plans for expensive treatments?
Yes. For larger treatment plans such as full-mouth rehabilitation or implants, we offer flexible instalment options. Please speak to our team during your consultation to discuss what works best for you.
